The copper casing of the calorimeter at the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers registered a temperature of 18.4 degrees Celsius on the morning of April 12. This measurement serves as the cold reservoir for the current inquiry. The recent bulletin concerning VIX regime shifts and their predictive power for S&P 500 returns suggests a theoretical efficiency that the physical apparatus cannot sustain. An original confidence of 0.88 implies a steep gradient between the hot source of the data and the condenser of the market. The engine will run at a lower speed to prevent the total exhaustion of the reservoir.
